About this list
Names follow the US release, Dragon Warrior. In the Japanese original and the remakes, Erdrick is Loto and a few item names differ, but the stats and shops are the same.
Price is what the shops charge; Sell is what you get back. Hero Equipment, Erdrick’s Sword and Erdrick’s Armor, must be found and cannot be bought.

- Garinham: Club, Copper Sword, Hand Axe; Leather Armor, Chain Mail, Half Plate; Large Shield.
- Kol: Copper Sword, Hand Axe; Half Plate, Full Plate; Small Shield.
- Rimuldar: Copper Sword, Hand Axe, Broad Sword; Half Plate, Full Plate, Magic Armor.
- Cantlin: Bamboo Pole, Club, Copper Sword, Hand Axe, Broad Sword, Flame Sword; Leather Armor, Chain Mail, Full Plate, Magic Armor; Large Shield, Silver Shield.
